Iris Sham sees pair as complete: meaning comes from “1+1”, possessing and losing form the duality. She thinks that every story is part of another story – either its prelude or postlude. Every space contains stories left behind by its passers-by. With pairs of images, the artist aims to tell stories by portraying the fluidity of time and the change of aura of spaces. She deliberately leaves the audience to ponder how subtly relationships are formed out of small traces of daily life.

岑倩衡視一雙一對為完整，只有「1+1」才能產生意義；從擁有到失去也是「雙」之間的關係。每個故事都是另外一個故事的部分、前奏或延續。人所到之處留下的氣味和痕跡，也替空間加添了故事。藝術家利用一對的影像，透過描繪時間的流逝和空間環境的氣氛變化道出人的故事，引領觀賞者思考和關注日常的事情如何微妙地構成一段段的關係。
